Instead, he ends up joining a death metal group For Reasons and moonlighting as the demonic Krauser II. Our hero is Negishi, a well-meaning aspiring singer who just wants to sing folk pop and get a nice girlfriend. But when this anime goes live-action, it’s even weirder. If you’ve ready the Detroit Metal City manga, you know it’s already pretty off the rails. Matsuyama is a great L, and a great actor in general. There’s a novel adaptation of the story if it catches your fancy, but see the film if you can. He also takes a genius child under his wing. During a certain 23-day period, L takes on a case involving a malicious bioterrorist group. Matsuyama reprises his role as the brilliant detective, though this case has nothing to do with Kira. It’s a companion piece to the two Death Note live-action anime adaptations starring Tatsuya Fujiwara as Light Yagami and Kenichi Matsuyama as L. While not actually hailing from the Death Note series, this film does take place in its universe. Obviously, this isn’t a complete list there’s a surprising amount of adaptations that have hit well. But even if you’re a picky watcher, there are a few titles you’ll almost certainly enjoy. We all know that the world of live-action anime remakes is a little varied. Perhaps some footage of each anime film will be featured in the live-action film.It looks like Netflix is betting on Yu Yu Hakusho for their next IRL remake of a beloved anime. "Soundback - Kanade no Ishi-" is the first film directed by Hitomi Saito in the film, and "Unmei Sensen Liddell-Light" is Chiharu Ouji's new film. The previously introduced trailers are, actually, for the two in-story films in the live-action film Haken Anime!. Hitomi struggles to win the title together with the peculiar producer and her unique colleagues. Chiharu, who previously produced many mega-hit films, is returning to the director's chair for the first time in eight years. Yoshioka's character in the film, Hitomi Saito, who has jumped into the world of the anime industry, makes her directorial debut and competes for the title of "Haken" ( supremacy) with the star director of her dreams, Chiharu Ouji played by Tomoya Nakamura. And Toei Animation has joined the project as the superviser. ![]() and has worked on numerous commercials and music video. The live-action film is directed by Kohei Yoshino, who participated as a CG creator in Makoto Shinkai's 2016 anime feature film Your Name. Its stage play adaptation directed by G2 ( Biohazard - Voice of Gaia-) was performed in 2019. The novel was first serialized in the weekly women's magazine an-an (Magazine House) from October 2012 to August 2014, then was published as a book with illustrations by CLAMP in August 2014. The film's official website has posted a teaser visual and a 30-second teaser trailer introducing its main cast members, including Riho Yoshioka as the protagonist Hitomi Saito. A live-action adaptation film of the Naoki Prize-winning author Mizuki Tsujimura's popular novel about the anime industry, Haken Anime!, is set to be released in Japan in May 2022. ![]()
